FILE 01 The Legend

In 2013 the Stokes family of Hacketstown Road told 'Spooked Ireland' / international media of a 2011 infestation: a demon photographed as a 'dark entity' near their daughter's bed, furniture moving, and the daughter's repeated collapse and hospitalisation. Paranormal teams including Eamonn Vaxery's 'The Irish Paranormal' investigated and claimed recordings of growls. The family's story attracted worldwide attention for an ordinary house on an ordinary street.

FILE 02 The Sightings Log

Photographs showing a dark humanoid shape by the girl's bed circulated globally. The mother reported being pinned to bed. A local priest and paranormal groups attended the house; some claimed the entity attached itself to the child.

FILE 03 The Skeptic’s File

No independent verification ever emerged: no hospital, clergy or council records confirm an exorcism or injury. The case's evidence chain runs entirely through the family's account, one paranormal team, and a reality-TV production. Media interest faded as quickly as it ignited — the classic arc of a modern poltergeist-flap.
